Digital workshop: The Cloud for insurers – opportunities and risks
Dear members,
we cordially invite you to the free event “The Cloud for Insurers – Opportunities and Risks” on January 27, 2021.
Insurers need modern business and operating models to enable them to act quickly, flexibly and customer-oriented. In addition, they need to establish a new “working model” and provide the best possible support for virtual collaboration – from which employees will also benefit. To address this broad range of issues as an insurer, the cloud is becoming an indispensable enabler and accelerator of transformation and thus a strategic success factor in the insurance industry.
- Markus Zimmermann and Nadine Häfner, who are responsible for the strategy and consulting area for insurance at Accenture, will introduce the topic and explain what contribution the cloud can make to the realization of flexible business and operating models. Even though cloud transformations typically initially involve costs, insurers can generate considerable business value with an appropriate governance and transformation strategy. Ecosystems and data play a key role here.
- Dr. Nikolaus Schmidt (Head of IT Products & Integration, AXA Germany) will then take a closer look at a concrete cloud journey using AXA as an example. He will also present how the implementation of a global cloud transformation can succeed and what experience his team has gained in the process.
- The webinar ends with an insight into cloud management disciplines. Sebastian Schröder (Senior Manager, Accenture Financial Services) will use a cloud value framework and a tool suite to show how insurers can effectively and efficiently manage their own cloud journeys.
