Opportunity, risk and financing of the digital transformation

Currently, four disruptions are changing the German economy for good: digitalization, de-carbonization, demographics, de-globalization. To cope with these changes, companies and also the state are facing a decade of upheaval and investment.

But even today, companies must prepare their business models and develop them digitally. Because even faster than the transformations, the financing conditions for companies are currently changing.

At the joint event of the Fin.Connect.NRW initiative of the North Rhine-Westphalia Ministry of Economics, InsurLab Germany e.V. and IHK NRW e.V., we would like to discuss with you how companies can already prepare their financing side for the development today and how politics can support them in this process.

Following the welcoming address by the Minister of Economics, Prof. Pinkwart, and a scientific impulse by Dr. Klös from the Institute of the German Economy, we would like to have speakers from the credit and insurance industries as well as from companies describe their perspectives and then enter into a discussion together. By the way, our Executive Board member Prof. Dr. Torsten Oletzky will be giving a keynote speech there on the topic of “Digital Transformation in the Insurance Industry”.

We cordially invite you to a digital discussion event on 25.01.2022, from 16.30-18.30. We look forward to your participation.
