SAS Insurance Circle: Online exchange of experiences for insurance experts

Digitisation of the insurance sector:
Accelerated change through Corona and what insurance companies can do

At the SAS Insurance Circle, you can expect a practical exchange of experiences about best practices, stumbling blocks and approaches to solutions with your colleagues from other insurance companies in 60-minute video conferences.

The Corona crisis has significantly accelerated the digital transformation of insurers. In recent months, the industry has successfully invested in faster response times for its hotlines. But this is only the beginning: digital contact points across all channels, from telephone to app to mail, are being expanded and orchestrated, additional advisory services are being created, products are becoming more understandable and accessible. This demonstrably increases customer satisfaction. The pressure is great: policyholders themselves expect their providers to modernise quickly and are open to the entry of digital giants such as Apple, Google or Amazon.

Against this background, how can insurance companies adapt business models and processes to the new reality? What role do digital ecosystems play? Which processes are affected by the greatest changes? How will employees from different areas work together in the future to create comprehensive digital solutions? What skills and attitudes do insurance employees need to actively shape digital change? And how can these characteristics be developed?
