“Blockchain” – what’s behind the term? How does the technology work? Is a cryptocurrency required for its use? In the first part of our webinar series, we will introduce you to the core concepts of the blockchain and explain what makes this technology so special with concrete application examples.

Together with our member Willis Towers Watson, we have organized a three-part webinar series for you that will show how the insurance industry can concretely benefit from the technology. The webinars will be led by Dr. Magdalena Ramada. She has worked for the Willis Towers Watson Research and Innovation Center for 13 years and has been Director of Insurance Consulting & Technology in Madrid since May 2018. She was one of the first to explore blockchain technology in an insurance context. In recent years, she has spoken at numerous international conferences and published on the subject. Among other things, she will accompany us at EXECinsurtech and share her knowledge live on stage.
