Campus and Event Manager part-time or full-time (m/f/d).

Your tasks:

  • You are responsible for the operational management of InsurLab Germany’s co-working space (InsurLab Germany Campus).
  • You ensure that tenants, members and guests feel at home every day and find a pleasant working atmosphere
  • You are the contact person for our campus community, relevant service providers and represent our campus internally and externally.
  • You take care of the acquisition of new tenants and partners and the administrative processing of contractual documents (tenancy agreements, handover protocols, etc.)
  • You organise the work schedules and campus-related tasks of our student workers
  • You are responsible for and coordinate event, workshop and conference room requests on campus.
  • You design and organise events for the local campus community
  • You will support and be partly responsible for the organisation and implementation of other internal and external InsurLab Germany events (networking events, workshops, conferences, trade fairs, etc.).

What we expect from you:

  • You have completed your university studies or your training well to very well
  • You are a communication talent and already have experience in the management of a co-working space, hotel or event industry.
  • You formulate and communicate confidently in written and spoken German and English
  • You have experience in working with MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
  • You are confident in your appearance and in dealing with start-ups and high-ranking company representatives.
  • You keep a cool head in stressful situations and stay focused
  • You have organisational talent and the ability to assert yourself
  • You are charismatic, open and like to approach people
  • You work independently and in a structured manner, and you enjoy working in a team.

Working student (m/f/d) in the field of communication, marketing and events

You can look forward to varied tasks:

  • You will supervise and plan a social media editorial plan and support its implementation in our various social media channels.
  • You will be actively involved in the further development of our website and coordinate the publication of new blog posts.
  • You will assist with traditional press work and the creation of publications.
  • You support the organisation of our events and the support of our member companies.
  • In addition, your tasks will include topic-related research work, support with other administrative tasks and looking after our co-working space.

You score with these skills:

  • You are currently completing a degree in journalism / marketing / communication science or similar
  • You are enthusiastic about digitalisation, innovation, start-ups and the insurance industry.
  • Implementing your content ideas with the appropriate Adobe programmes is no problem for you
  • You are well versed in the current social media landscape – especially on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & Instagram channels
  • You are eloquent and find it easy to read up on new topics and write texts independently
  • You have no trouble getting to grips with our content management systems (e.g. WordPress, Newsletter2go, CRM).
  • You have your own ideas and are a real team player.

  • Support in cost controlling, accounting and service provider management

  • You are fluent in written and spoken English and German.
  • You are currently completing a full-time course of study in the field of business or similar
  • You are experienced in the use of MS Office, especially profound knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
  • You are enthusiastic about digitalisation, innovation, start-ups and the insurance industry
  • You work on your own initiative, you see work that needs to be done and you do it independently, proactively and in a structured way
  • You have an interest in finance, controlling and an analytical mindset
  • You have your own ideas and are a real team player
