We are delighted to have Telekom's Digital Unit in our midst and are looking forward to our future collaboration.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Ulrike Volejnik (Executive Vice President &amp; Head of Industry Health at Telekom MMS) recently told us in an interview what motivated them to become members, what is important to them and how they want to get involved.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hello Ulrike, and once again a warm welcome to InsurLab Germany! As Telekom's digital unit, Telekom MMS supports companies in their digital transformation. We - the healthcare team at Telekom MMS - focus on supporting health insurance companies on their Journey to Digital and offering policyholders tangible added value within digital offerings. Long-standing relationships with our customers and more than 25 years of industry expertise make us a reliable partner at eye level.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How did you come to InsurLab Germany and why did you decide to become a member?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In addition to industry-independent solutions and services, our portfolio includes customized digital solutions for insurance companies and health insurers. These solutions have been specially developed to meet the complex requirements of the industry. We see our membership of InsurLab as a strategic opportunity to further develop our portfolio in line with the needs of the industry. We also want to share our knowledge from numerous projects and benefit from the insights of other members at the same time. We are also convinced that working with InsurLab and its members will open up new perspectives for us and further strengthen our ability to develop innovative and forward-looking digital healthcare solutions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What topics and content are important to you? What is your opinion on our 2024 focus topics \"Generative AI\" and \"Sustainability \/ ESG\"?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We design digital experiences with a focus on the needs of users. A wide variety of topics contribute to this, with the role of AI becoming increasingly important. We see great opportunities for insurance companies, particularly in customer service and process efficiency. AI can also make a decisive contribution to the implementation of sustainability initiatives by enabling data analysis for CO2 reduction measures. At Telekom MMS, we look at sustainability in various dimensions for which we want to provide an answer. This includes solutions that we develop for ourselves and our customers, such as reducing energy consumption in buildings. At the same time, we see this as an ethical and social responsibility, which is also reflected in our corporate vision: We shape the life and work of tomorrow and the day after tomorrow - digitalized, sustainable, worth living.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In which of our activities do you plan to get involved?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We see the Topic Groups as a particularly exciting format for engaging in joint dialog, discussing challenges and opportunities, sharing practical insights, developing ideas and learning from one another. We are also looking forward to providing new impetus at the Health and AI Topic Days and exchanging ideas with industry players. Our aim is therefore to work together at different levels to create positive change together.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We are definitely looking forward to working together.
