BANKSapi is a successful Banking-as-a-Service and Bancassurance provider and one of our Accelerator Startups in the Growth category 2019. We are very pleased to announce that they have received BaFin permission as an account information service as well as a payment initiation service with immediate effect. With the BaFin permission, BANKSapi is now launching its PSD2 solution REG\/Protect-as-a-Service.<\/em>
\nREG\/Protect clients of BANKSapi, such as insurance companies, brokerage firms, billing and accounting programs or credit platforms, can offer the service spectrum account information and payment initiation in their customer portals, but do not themselves need to have the corresponding authorization under the Payment Services Supervision Act (ZAG).
\nWith the approval notice from BaFin, BANKSapi is further expanding its range of services with additional innovative functions based on the machine learning platform: from contract recognition to customer-oriented personal financial management. More than 93% of account turnovers can already be classified today, the digital insurance recognition INSUR\/Connect to 96%. The module classifies account turnovers according to insurance products, automatically enriches them with insurance turnovers and creates a fully digital insurance folder.

\nBANKSapi is always perceived in the insurance industry as a pioneer for digital bancassurance. Among others, the insurance groups W&W, Alte Leipziger, Swiss Life Select, tecis and others are already using the Open Banking solutions. In addition to the recent inclusion in the Accelerator Program of InsurLab Germany, BANKSapi was able to convince FondsKonzept AG, one of the leading broker pools.
