More scale-up power for our member community! With Openclaims, we have recently welcomed an exciting new member to our member community, who is also our neighbor at Hohenzollernring in Cologne. We talked to Michael Manten, Country Manager Germany at Openclaims, about the motives, topics and ambitions of the membership.
Hello Michael! Welcome again as a new member of InsurLab Germany. Can you briefly introduce your company to us?

Openclaims is a provider of a SaaS platform for highly efficient automotive claims and repair management. With our white-label platform, we enable insurance companies, leasing companies and fleet operators to build an open, flexible ecosystem for capturing, assessing and settling automotive accident claims. Openclaims is best known for its intelligent, machine learning-based distribution of repair orders to the best body shop in our customers' network. We help our customers optimize repair costs, repair safety, repair processes and the environmental footprint of repairs.
Openclaims has its origin and headquarters in Amsterdam. The company was founded in 2015. Our team has many years of industry experience and is very proud of the recognition we have received with our SaaS platform in recent years. Openclaims has already received several awards for its innovation in the Netherlands. Currently, the largest number of automotive accident claims in the market in the Netherlands are processed through Openclaims' SaaS platform.
Since the fall of 2021, Openclaims has had an office in Copenhagen, from where it looks after the Scandinavian markets, and in April 2022 we opened our office in Cologne on what was then the InsurLab Campus, from here I look after the DACH markets
How did you come to join InsurLab and why did you decide to become a member?
When we entered the German market, we looked directly for an ecosystem for networking with potential partners. We are aware that every brand entry brings new requirements and challenges, which can be managed more and more efficiently through new partnerships.
InsurLab Germany is one of the leading industry platforms. We immediately recognized the potential and value of a membership in the InsurLab network after the first contacts. Openclaims membership offers the opportunity for networking with a large number of players in the insurance industry.
What topics and content are important to you?
As a scale-up, we are naturally very interested in becoming better known in the insurance industry with the numerous added values of our platform. On the one hand as a solution provider in the value chain of an insurer, on the other hand also with potential partners for the ecosystems of our customers. InsurLab's range of services offers a wide range of opportunities here. We hope that the various formats will provide new impetus for further business development and our product.

We look forward to participating in numerous networking events and plan to be actively involved in Topic Groups and Topic Days. We are happy to plan the possibilities of participation in other activities together with you, we look forward to a lively exchange.
