Everything is new in autumn - that's what we thought, too, and we are expanding our team with two new colleagues. The first working week has begun for Linn Korfmann and Laura Duffe. For this reason, we would like to introduce our two colleagues to you.
Linn Korfmann (pictured right) joins our team in Cologne as Campus and Event Manager. After successfully completing her studies in tourism, hotel and event management, she was able to gain initial experience in the hotel industry.
When the wanderlust became too much, she packed her bag and traveled through Australia and Southeast Asia - impressions you never forget! As a native of the north, she was finally drawn to Cologne. Here she took up a position as an assistant in a management consultancy - this allowed her to broaden her professional horizons and get to know a new industry. "Now I'm excited to be part of the InsurLab Germany team and continue to build the community around the campus in Cologne!"
As a former active soccer player, she now enjoys visiting the soccer stadium of her favorite club. With her athletic ambition, her balanced nature and her experience in coordination and event management, she will optimally strengthen our team.
Laura Duffe (on the left in the picture) has joined our team as Manager for Marketing, Communication and Events. With the Ruhr area in her heart, she has moved to Cologne. Flexible as she is, she starts with a lot of enthusiasm in the new job and in the new city. "I'm looking forward to new challenges, to working with my great team and, of course, to the Cologne Carnival!" As a former Funkemariechen, carnival is especially close to her heart.
Her interest in communication and marketing was already expressed in her journalism studies. Here she specialized early on in the areas of public relations and marketing. This was then reflected in her choice of career. In a classic public relations agency, she supported various companies from different industries. She continued with a master's degree in the field of corporate communication. Here she focused on the areas of social media and live communication. With her affinity for communication and events, she is exactly the right person for this position.
