Masterclass EU AI Act

With the EU AI Act the European Union has created the first comprehensive legal framework for the regulation of artificial intelligence. In this masterclass, you will find out what requirements will be placed on AI systems in the future and what impact this will have on companies, particularly in the insurance industry.

Roland BergerThe joint presentation by our member Roland Berger and our Collaborator start-up QuantPi provides an overview of the AI Act's risk-based approach, in which AI systems are assessed according to high or limited risk. Data quality, transparency and governance requirements are highlighted and the necessary testing tools and assessment processes are presented. A particular focus is placed on the implications of the AI Act for the insurance industry. You will learn how the regulation requires transparency, accountability and testing processes and how the comprehensive governance system, which includes competent authorities, conformity assessments and market surveillance, is implemented. The importance of statistical tests and use case-specific assessments is also emphasized.

Prepare yourself optimally for the new regulations and understand what the AI Act means for the future of AI in your company. The event is of particular interest to decision-makers, divisional heads and management at companies in the insurance industry, especially those with regulatory, compliance, data, strategy or analytics functions. There will initially be a 45-minute keynote speech on the topic and then a 15-minute Q&A session.
