InsurLab Germany announces groundbreaking partnerships and plans cross-company projects

InsurLab Germany announced at the association's annual general meeting that new partnerships will shape the direction of the initiative: In 2019, the initiative will partner for the first time with Herbert Fromme, InsurTech Hub Munich and Google on the "Digital Lighthouse Insurance" of Süddeutscher Verlag. Together with Koelnmesse, InsurLab Germany is also planning a new type of insurance congress trade fair, which will be held in Cologne for the first time in 2020. Furthermore, the initiative is working on cross-company digital innovation projects and solutions, which will specifically promote and strengthen collaboration between member companies. InsurLab Germany now comprises 77 member companies and welcomes Carlo Bewersdorf, CEO of Hannoversche Lebensversicherung AG, as a new member of the executive board.

Two years ago, Sten Nahrgang, Armin Molla and Dr. Matthias Uebig founded the startup Mailo - a commercial insurance for the self-employed and small businesses. Recently, they were able to announce that they have now received the BaFin license.
