Five startups become part of the InsurLab Germany Accelerator

Five InsurTech startups from four countries will be supported by the initiative for the next six months to further develop their products and offerings and successfully launch them on the German market. In addition to individual mentors, workshops, investor meetings, expert contact persons from the member companies and free workplaces on the InsurLab Germany Campus in Cologne await the selected startups.

InsurLab Germany wins Sebastian Pitzler as new managing director

InsurLab Germany, the platform for networking insurance companies and InsurTech startups, has hired Sebastian Pitzler (36) as its new Managing Director. Pitzler currently heads the ERGO Digital Lab in Berlin and is due to take up his new role at InsurLab Germany on April 1, 2018 at the latest.

InsurLab Germany continues to develop dynamically

In a workshop that was very well attended with over 70 participants, representatives of the member companies discussed the 2018 work program for InsurLab Germany, the platform for networking between insurance companies and InsurTech startups. "Digitization of customer communication", "Artificial intelligence and forecasting algorithms" and "Blockchain / Smart Contracts" were defined as the main topics for the coming months.
