The [...], invites you to explore precisely these questions InsurLab Germany and the de:hub Initiative together to create an exclusive de:hub Cross-Industry Innovation Lunch & Talk at the RheinLand Insurance Group in Neuss.
In terms of content, AI and Innovation in Practice The focus: How do different industries use AI productively, and how can they scale it successfully? At the same time, the discussion centers on innovation management, startup collaborations, and venture clienting. The cross-industry approach deliberately opens up perspectives beyond one’s own industry.
The Lunch & Talk will take place the day after the InsurLab Germany Collaborator Demo Day on December 2 in Cologne and in the run-up to the de:hub Pitch Night on the evening of December 3 in Düsseldorf. Participation in the Collaborator Demo Day is reserved for InsurLab Germany member companies or is possible only by invitation from InsurLab Germany.
Two days, three formats
Participation in the Lunch & Talk does not require attendance at the Collaborator Demo Day or Pitch Night. However, especially for participants traveling from afar, this offers the opportunity to combine several events focused on startups, innovation, and cross-industry exchange over the course of two days:

The RheinLand Insurance Group is located right next to the Neuss Central Station. From there, Düsseldorf Airport is about 20–30 minutes by train accessible—which means the Lunch & Talk can be combined directly with the de:hub Pitch Night.
What can participants expect?
- Joint Networking Lunch in a relaxed atmosphere
- Insights from Business Practice and the de:hub Network, including Dr. Arne Barinka, CEO of the RheinLand Insurance Group
- Moderated Discussion on AI, innovation management, startup partnerships, and venture clienting
- Open, cross-industry exchange and networking with innovation leaders from various industries
The goal is to bring together companies from different industries to engage in dialogue, share experiences, learn from one another, and identify concrete opportunities for collaboration.
Target Audience and Participation:
The Lunch & Talk is aimed at Innovation managers, leaders in venture clienting, corporate venturing, and corporate venture capital, as well as executives in strategy, transformation, and business development. The format is explicitly defined as Cross-Industry Exchange Among Companies designed. Company representatives from the networks of the participating de:hub locations are eligible to participate. Employees of the hubs themselves are not expected to participate.
For each participating de:hub location, there is a A quota of up to two company representatives available. Therefore, when registering, please indicate, which de:hub location the participation will take place at. InsurLab members can join by registering with the de:hub InsurTech Cologne are assigned and are exempt from the participant limit (so more participants per company are allowed here as well).
The goal is to form a close-knit group of about 25 participants, if there is sufficient demand, up to 40 seats intended.
The registration is intended exclusively for Company representatives from InsurLab Germany member companies as well as from the Business Networks at de:hub Locations Possible. Employees at the de:hub locations themselves are not eligible to participate.
