Circles
PERSONAL PROFESSIONAL EXCHANGE ALONG THE INSURANCE VALUE CHAIN
In our Circles, experts from insurance companies, startups, and scale-ups—as well as members from other backgrounds—meet in person to discuss specific professional issues, share experiences, and learn from one another.
The focus is on open dialogue, shared challenges, and best practices drawn from real-world experience. Participants contribute their own perspectives, gain insights into the work of other members, and find new inspiration for their field of expertise.
The Circles are the The successor format to our previous Topic Groups and are actively working to further develop professional exchange within our community.

How do the Circles work?
Each Circle meets approximately twice a year and is held exclusively in person. The meetings are hosted either at InsurLab Germany or at one of our member companies. Registration is required separately for each appointment. This allows the group to be composed in a way that best suits the topic and current issues. You can always find the most up-to-date schedule in the overview below or in the complete schedule on our homepage.
Brief technical presentations can help kick off or deepen the discussion. However, the focus is on discussion, the exchange of experiences, and the active participation of attendees. Participants are encouraged to share their own questions, experiences, and best practices.
The number of participants is deliberately kept to a minimum to ensure there is enough time for one-on-one discussions and an in-depth exploration of the respective topics.
That's why it's worth participating
- Professional exchange with experts in the same field
- Insights into the experiences and approaches of other members
- Joint Assessment of Specific Challenges
- New perspectives and inspiration for one's own work
- Expanding your personal network within the InsurLab community
Who can participate?
The Circles are aimed at subject matter experts and team leads from insurance companies, startups, and scale-ups, as well as technology companies, academic institutions, and consulting firms within the InsurLab Germany membership who wish to actively participate in the discussion.
Depending on the circle, the focus is on different roles and areas of responsibility. What matters most is a connection to the relevant topic and a willingness to share your own experiences and questions.
