Female Leadership Meet-up #2: Kick-off
Networking and Knowledge Sharing for Women in Leadership Roles in the Insurance Industry
With the Female Leadership Meetup We would like to establish a regular forum for women in leadership positions and women with leadership responsibilities from InsurLab Germany’s member companies. The focus will be on an open exchange of ideas regarding shared challenges, experiences, and current topics. Many of the issues faced are similar across company boundaries—the forum is intended to create a trusting environment in which participants can learn from one another, share experiences, and support one another.
The kick-off is the starting point for everyone. The goal is to work together to define the focus, target audience, schedule, topics, and potential hosts. InsurLab handles the organizational coordination; content, topics, and hosts are developed together with the participants.
What the Kick-off Is All About
The Female Leadership Meet-up is not intended to be a traditional event format, but rather a regular forum for exchange that is shaped by the participants themselves. The goal is to create a dynamic, practical platform with rotating hosts from member companies and topics tailored to the group’s current needs.
At the kick-off meeting, we’ll work together to determine what the forum should look like in the future: What topics are relevant? How often should it take place? Who can serve as host? What communication channels are needed? And who would like to actively help shape its future?

Goals of the kick-off:
– Jointly define the forum’s purpose and focus
– Determine the target audience and framework conditions
– Determine the schedule and potential hosts
– Gather and prioritize topics and formats for upcoming meetings
– Schedule your first appointments
– Coordinate distribution lists and communication channels
– Recruit co-organizers to help shape the project moving forward
