May 19, 2025: Strategic instead of opportunistic: InsurLab study shows when embedded insurance is effective - and when it is not
Cologne, May 19, 2025 - Embedded insurance is considered one of the most exciting fields of innovation in insurance sales. But which factors determine success or failure? A new study by InsurLab Germany, conducted in collaboration with the University of St. Gallen and crossconsulting, provides the answers. The study examines the status quo of embedded insurance models and their future potential for the industry on the basis of 47 analyzed use cases, 35 expert interviews and a representative end customer survey with over 2,000 participants.
