Strengthening Leadership, Focus, and Impact in the AI Transformation

The AI transformation is no longer merely a technological issue. It is changing strategies, business models, decision-making processes, and the way organizations operate. For board members and executive leadership, it is therefore crucial how they provide direction, set priorities, and ensure their organizations remain capable of taking action.

At the C-Level Fireplace Evening, we’ll focus on leadership in times of profound change: How can we maintain focus amid rapid transformation, strengthen collaboration, and align teams toward a common goal? The focus is on transferring knowledge from elite sports to business practice.

With Alexander Haase, Manuela Zinsberger and Uwe Schöpe Three different perspectives on leadership, team performance, and dealing with the pressure to change come together. Alexander Haase, former assistant coach of the German national handball team—with which he won the European Championship in 2016 and took home an Olympic bronze medal—will kick off the evening with a presentation on elite sports. Thanks to the efforts of our member PPI, we are pleased to welcome a coach with many years of experience in leading and developing elite teams.

He then discusses the matter with Manuela Zinsberger, Austrian national soccer team goalkeeper, 2025 Champions League winner, and goalkeeper for Borussia Dortmund, as well as Uwe Schöpe, Chief Human Resources Officer and Director of Labor Relations at Zurich Group Germany. In an open discussion with the participating board members and managing directors, the focus will be on what characterizes successful leadership under pressure and what insights can be drawn from this for the AI transformation. The discussion will be moderated by will take over, Managing Director of InsurLab Germany.
