Welcome to InsurLab Germany: Could you please briefly introduce Peak3 to our community?
Peak3 is a leading international provider of cloud-based portfolio management systems for the insurance industry. Peak3’s modular platform, Graphene, supports insurers—with a particular focus on property and casualty insurance—in digitizing key business processes, such as product development, contract management, claims processing, and sales. Insurers use this platform in more than 20 countries, with over two billion policies issued—ranging from digital greenfield projects to traditional core system modernization. In Europe, customers from Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and France, among others, rely on Peak3’s solution.
How did you come to join InsurLab and why did you decide to become a member?
We have been engaging with the InsurLab team for some time now, and have contributed our expertise to various initiatives. We now wanted to take it a step further, as the intensive exchange among InsurLab members—ranging from startups to insurers to research institutions—aligns perfectly with our core belief: Co-creation as the driving force behind transformation and innovation. As a provider of a modern, AI-enabled portfolio management system, we see ourselves as an active shaper of this ecosystem. Membership allows us both to contribute our insights and to benefit from the collective expertise.

Adrien Lebegue, CEO of Peak3, Europe & Middle East
What topics and content are important to you? How do you feel about our 2025 focus topics „Operational excellence and business process management“ and „AI scaling and application“?
Fundamentally, all issues related to the transformation and renewal of technical infrastructure are important to us. We see significant challenges in the market in this area, but these also present major opportunities—including for innovation and digitalization, such as product innovation or sales activities. In this context, operational excellence, business process management, and AI scaling and application are naturally always a focus. Our platform relies heavily on process automation, data-driven decisions, and no-code configuration—ideal prerequisites, for example, for efficient claims and benefits management. For us, artificial intelligence is not an add-on, but an integral part of our platform strategy. With the current version of our cloud platform Graphene, we have created an architecture that is AI- and Agentic AI-ready, for example with the ability to orchestrate and securely integrate multiple specialized AI agents into business processes. Use cases already implemented on our platform include automated first-notice-of-loss (FNOL) reporting via conversational interfaces such as chatbots or voice assistants, seamless dark processing through a combination of OCR, NLP, and rule-based decision-making, as well as dynamic fraud detection that combines machine learning with insurance-specific expert knowledge.
Which of our activities are you planning to get involved in? What impetus would you like to bring to the InsurLab network - and what do you hope to get in return?
We plan to actively participate in the expert groups and special sessions, primarily by sharing insights from real-world use cases. In return, we hope to gain inspiration, new perspectives, and partnerships for projects—so that together we can develop solutions that make a real impact.
Adrien Lebegue and Vincent Wild, thank you very much for the interview! We look forward to working with you.
