The world of work is changing and has undergone far-reaching changes since the COVID 19 pandemic at the latest. More and more companies are introducing flexible working models with a home-office-office mix, which in turn bring with them new requirements for the usability and design of their own office space. Furthermore, the market is witnessing a strong growth in the number of co-working providers that explicitly specialize in offering flexible, modern workplaces, thus significantly increasing competition. In addition, our own campus operations have developed at an economic loss since the start of the pandemic.

Focus on core competencies

Exterior view-Hohenzollernring-85.These developments have prompted us as the InsurLab Germany team to focus on our strategic core competencies and activities. On September 30, 2022, we will therefore terminate our previous campus model with fixed and flexible co-working spaces in Cologne-Mülheim. This decision is also accompanied by a move of our own team to the center of Cologne, where we will be moving into new, smaller office space starting next fall.

Sebastian Pitzler, Managing Director of InsurLab Germany, explains:

"The decision was not an easy one, not least because of the excellent relationship we have developed with our campus tenants over the years. We are firmly convinced, however, that this step will enable us to focus more strongly on our actual core activities: Providing impetus for digital transformation and promoting the innovative capabilities of our members."

New location of InsurLab Germany

The new location on Hohenzollernring offers variable office and event space with good connectivity options as well as a central location and close proximity to numerous member companies, co-working spaces and event infrastructure.
