VENPACE expands portfolio shortly after launch - Ninebarc thus gains further strategic access to the insurance industry in addition to SÜDVERS
Our startup Ninebarc Ltd. is a success story for strong networking and emerging innovation support in the German insurance industry. Through networks of "Digital Hub Initiative" like the InsurLab Germany from Cologne and the InsurTech Hub Munich (ITHM) receive startups like Ninebarc a platform to present itself not only to corporates but also to investors.
We are with Ninebarc went live in December 2020 as a platform for digital estate planning and retirement planning. Here, legal precautionary documents such as living wills, organ donation cards or powers of attorney can be created and deposited directly. In addition to saving and specifically sharing important data, it is already possible today to configure an individual estate plan, store information on assets via the platform, and even generate your own digital will template.
At events of the Innovationhubs from Cologne and Munich we were communicated great interest and it became clear to us that our solution can become an exciting interface for insurers and financial service providers. We provide these partners with Ninebarc an opportunity to expand their own product portfolio and, in the course of innovation, create important "digital touchpoints" to their customers. Meanwhile, Ninebarc is offered as an optional add-on module or white label solution in the corporate identity of the B2B partner. The first collaborations have already been launched and, through participation in the innovation programs of the InsurLab Germany and ITHM we will continue to expand this network.
Also for VENPACE Ninebarc has proven to be a suitable investment case. The insurtech fund aims to realize and promote digital innovations. The partners ("Ideal Insurance Group", "PrismaLife", "Provinzial" and "Vienna Insurance Group) represent a broad insurance spectrum and provide a corresponding foresight into the current opportunities, trends and challenges of the industry. The Berlin-based startup fits perfectly into this investment focus as an interface between consumers and risk carriers.
Participation in both grant programs/accelerators of the InsurLab Germany from Cologne and the InsurTech Hub Munich (ITHM) is a great honor for us. For us, they are further opportunities to underline the relevance of our offering in the insurance industry and to make important new contacts. The programs also enjoy an exceptionally good reputation internationally and highlight the emerging digitalization trend of the insurance locations Cologne and Munich.
