The origin of the platform "bendesk" and the company tridion benefits GmbH goes back several years. At that time, founder and CEO Achim Trude built up the company "tridion Asset Management", which focused on the sale of various insurance products. In the course of time, the complex and popular topic of company pension schemes (bAV) came more and more to the fore, as his expertise was particularly in demand here. With Achim's success, not only his tasks grew, but also his team, which supported him especially in the day-to-day business.

Due to the strongly employee-oriented corporate culture from the beginning, the actual idea of the product "bendesk" was born. Achim and his team realized that a good salary has long since ceased to be enough to bind employees to a company in the long term. Characterized by respect, tolerance and empathy, everyone at today's tridion benefits GmbH contributes their share to the company's success. Thanks to this appreciation, all employees work agilely and efficiently in a flexible and digital work environment. So why not develop a product that conveys precisely these values? Intrinsic motivation thus gives rise to the business model. The profound knowledge about the mediation of insurances is transferred to the process of mediating further corporate benefits, such as company bicycles, meal allowances or sabbatical solutions. A study by the Korn Ferry Hay Group management consultancy confirms that 70 % of employees now feel more closely tied to the company through benefits. These even pay off significantly in terms of employee commitment. That is why we support companies today not only in matters of bAV, but also in the legally compliant implementation and maintenance of all corporate benefits. This should not only relieve HR departments, but at the same time strengthen employer branding and consequently make employees more satisfied.

In the meantime, we are working on the further development of bendesk with a motivated team of 20 employees. The innovative solution of an intuitive, digital SaaS platform will soon be made available to around 10,000 employees of our customers. With bendesk, HR departments not only have the ability to manage all benefit and contract information, but can select the benefits that fit their company culture for themselves. In addition, as a company, we offer webinars to explain more complex benefits, such as the bAV. This allows employer branding to be positioned in an attractive way. Employees not only feel understood and valued through the individual integration of benefits, but for them the platform provides an overview of all the benefits available to them and the associated savings.

In line with our motto "People over Process," we were also able to counter the consequences of the Corona pandemic through rapid adaptation methods and continue to expand our team despite these challenging times. At the same time, even with rapid growth, our focus is always on maintaining a sustainable, employee-oriented culture and not deviating from our own values.
